The 1st Annual Woolwich Christmas Parade, held on Sunday, December 7, was a huge success. Many local organizations participated, walking and riding from Gov. Charles C Stratton School, along Center Square Road, unto Auburn Avenue, down High Hill Road, into High Hill Park, and ending in Locke Avenue Park. The weather cooperated, although it was a chilly evening. However, a large number of residents still lined the parade route. Based upon the enthusiastic crowd, the Annual Christmas Parade should become a new tradition for Woolwich Township residents.
